Impactparents Privacy Policy

At Impactparents we believe in complete transparency (it's part of our coach-approach), and are committed to honoring and protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase on any of Impactparents's Websites (known hereafter as “our Websites”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit our Websites, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse our Websites, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to our Websites, and information about how you interact with our Websites. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

We collect personal information that you voluntarily submit to our Websites, such as your name, email address, phone number or address. For instance, you are voluntarily submitting information to the Websites when you fill out a web form, leave a comment, subscribe to a newsletter, sign up for a program or purchase a product. In addition, if you sign up for a program or purchase a product from us that requires a password, we store your user name, any pre-set passwords we create for you and any general passwords we provide, such as that which is used for access to a paid program, e.g. Parent Success System. Any password you set is not visible in our system or records. We refer to this information as “Registration Information.”

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through our Websites, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

“Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy refers to Device Information, Registration Information, and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use your Personal Information to support you as best we can, and do not share it without a clear purpose, such as listed below. We send you emails about programs and webinars relevant to raising or educating complex kids. We remind you about important deadlines and dates. We scan email addresses to prevent malicious attacks on impactparents.com and all of our related websites. And we answer questions and fulfill products you buy from us.

Because the internet is open and available to all, we are alert to potential third-party intrusions on our site; your Personal Information also helps to identify these potential threats.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. The third-party companies we engage are also fully committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We regularly check to ensure that our vendors are also compliant with any changes in privacy regulations. As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. DO NOT TRACK

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Your Rights About Your Personal Information on Our Websites:

ACCESS

You have the right to see the information we have collected about you. Simply send an email to TheTeam@impactparents.com

UPDATE OR CHANGE

You have the right to update or change/amend your information at any time. Send an email to TheTeam@impactparents.com or click UPDATE MY INFORMATION at bottom of any email.

OPT-OUT

You have the right to opt-out of any of our mailing lists or programs. There is a one-button “UNSUBSCRIBE” button on all of our emails.

FORGET

You have the right to ask us to erase or forget all your data. Just send an email to TheTeam@impactparents.com. Note, however, that there are some instances when we may need to retain limited information about you for records, transactions and when required by law.

SENSITIVE INFORMATION

We will never ask for sensitive personal information such as your Social Security number, your religious or political preferences, or other sensitive topics (other than those associated with parenting). Please avoid sharing this information on our site. If you choose to do so, know that the data will be subject to the terms of this privacy policy.
Although the audience for our Websites is adults, we understand that children under the age of 13 may access these pages. We never knowingly promote our products to children and if we discover a child is subscribed to any of our lists, we will take immediate steps to rectify the situation. We never use information gathered, even inadvertently, from children for marketing purposes. There is no content on the site that is inappropriate for children of any age.

GOVERNANCE

This Privacy Policy is interpreted and governed under the laws of the state of Georgia. Any action to enforce a portion of this policy shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Fulton County, Georgia. The successful party in an action to enforce this policy shall be entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees.
